These are some words my friend penned down for my son Aarav. He graciously allowed me to put his writing on my blog. I'm lucky to have friends like these :)

Here is a little boy but
hes a man at heart
a thousand lives in one
and a million dollar smile

as he opened his eyes to life
the world had weird plans
he made them all his own
and made it his lil song

he carries the burden of hopes
and gives the love of two
he sees dreams with his ears
for his eyes were spent on her too

he likes to fight the bad boys
find the monsters in the house
one part of him is a tiger
in another Superman resides

I stop and start to wonder
life and I are so far apart
Stranded in these moments of truth
I just loop back to the start

Here is our lil boy but

and with a priceless smile

(Aarav doesn't yet understand the concept of dreams, so he bluffs when I ask him about them. He says every morning that he had dreams in his ears:) I find it so cute that I don't correct him...I had mentioned this to my friend once...and he remembered to capture it here)
