My Sun

You are like my sun
Filling me up with your light
Keeping me warm with your love
Only to set on me some day...

You are like the soft breeze
Bringing me the garden's fragrance
Gently caressing me as you move
But you're bound to pass me by some day...

You are a traveler
Meeting me at a crossroad
Giving my life new meaning...
Only to walk on by some day

I may be your solace today
But will you come back for me?
Am I but a passing pleasure
Or is my love your final treasure

Will you be my fortress
my unflinching rock, my savior...
Can I place my feeble heart in your care
and know that your love is here to stay.

Never Enough

The grinding the sweating
it gets too much
the craving the longing
its never enough
We love like animals
its in our blood
Its never enough
how i need your love

your body on mine
the electric touch
my sighs your thrusts
it ain't enough
We love like animals
its in our blood
Its never enough
how i need your love

my hands on your back
me all engulfed
how you make me yours
with the way you make your love
We love like animals
its in our blood
Its never enough
how i need your love

Unknow You

Knowing you is daunting
Reaching you impossible
Having you is a mirage
Keeping you impractical

You are bigger than my love
You run deeper than the universe

You were a mystery
Now an obsession
You were simple
Now intangible
You were mine
Now another's

What brought me to you
is now pulling me back
I'll never mean as much
I'll never be satisfied

it's time to let go
there's no getting through
wanna go back to the start
baby I'd like to unknow you.

The Canadian Winter 2015

Nature is ruthless
In all its mighty might
It humbles your selfish pride
And shows you who's to your right

Overheard at a pedestrian red light, while dealing with the early morn' Canadian winter, trying to keep pace with the downtown wind gone wild -

woman 1: the real feel is like, -40 today

woman 2: why choose canada? why are we not in california or something?

man: I blame my parents

woman 2: yea me too! they obviously didn't do their research well before deciding on canada!

made me go 'ummm' :)
